Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1

Those who are loyal to the book series like me, you’ll love this movie. Out of all the other films from the franchise, this is the one that stayed true to the story.
For those Harry Potter book series fans out there, this is like a dream come true. A few changes here and there but still, the detail you thought you’d never see, it’s here.

Though for most of those who have not read the book, it could be pretty dragging because of all the detail. There were a lot of idle moments, thinking and contemplating, that to those who have not read it, will not make sense.
I have had my doubts about splitting the last book into two. Just because it’s the last installment doesn’t necessarily mean you need to make it more dramatic by prolonging it.

Sure that last scene, might’ve make it seem like the movie had a plot, but really it didn’t, more like, the Dark Lord succeeded in doing something while our protagonists have still so much to do.

Well the plot might’ve been about the Deathly Hallows, but most of the scenes seemed irrelevant to it since that is not their true mission. So it’s all very confusing and to other it might just seem all talk and conversations.

One thing it did accomplish though is that they hyped it up so that anyone who had seen this one should definitely see the last and final movie; that much is said.

For me, although the lack of plot, this has still been an enjoyable movie experience. It was funny, it was sad, it had what would seem like a car chase scene, it would have gory scenes it it weren’t for its PG-13 rating.
So it’s a half and half depending on which side you’re on. It was good for me, since I actually saw it twice.
